Usability in a Content Management System

Enhancing Inline Editing in an E-Commerce CMS

This case study explores the UX audit conducted for Easyfy’s content management system (CMS), focusing on identifying key usability issues and providing actionable insights for optimizing the platform’s user experience and interface. By applying research-driven methods, this design project aimed to refine user flows and improve the overall efficiency of Easyfy’s CMS, making it more intuitive and accessible for non-technical users.

My Role

As a UX researcher and designer, I worked closely with a team of four other designers to improve the user interface and workflow of Easyfys CMS. My responsibilities included:

🔵 Concept mapping and research plan
🔵 Competitor analysis
🔵 Stakeholder interview
🔵 Interface sketches
🔵 Prototyping

Outcome & Impact

Based on the insights gathered, our design team proposed design changes and created an interactive prototype for a more intuitive CMS interface.

The new design simplified key user actions like editing content, navigating menus, and publishing, leading to a smoother and faster workflow.
