UX Audit of a Digital Assistant for Time Management, Planning and Task Execution

Todej is a digital assistant developed by Knowit that helps users with time management and planning. It facilitates easy scheduling of both recurring and one-off activities. By adopting an inclusive approach, Todej empowers users to manage their daily lives more independently and confidently, fostering a sense of empowerment and participation in society.

This case study evaluates the app’s interface and functionality for three distinct user groups: individuals with cognitive impairments, kids and youth users, and mentors or parents who oversee activities. The review focused on the onboarding process, the usability of two screens, and the integration of AI.

Role

I proactively conducted a UX audit to assess and improve the user experience of a digital assistant for time and planning.

Impact

Through a thorough evaluation of the digital assistant, I identified key usability and accessibility challenges that were impacting user engagement. My analysis provided actionable recommendations to improve the onboarding process, refine the interface, and enhance AI transparency.

I delivered a structured report with these actionable recommendations, which received positive feedback from the company lead. After our engagement, the development team felt empowered to further refine the product, creating a more intuitive and user-centered experience.
