Digital Booklet for the Event in Cannes

A presentation is required regarding the Creative Design Sprint event held in Cannes which was attended by 40 participants from 10 different countries. This event was a part of the T.A.B project, which aims to establish Innovation Hubs for Tech, Art, and Business, managed by the Blue Science Park located in Karlskrona, Sweden.

My concept was inspired by the theme of Design Sprint and its creative process in Cannes. The cover image features a vibrant seashell adorned with pearls, or rather the interpretation of a seashell. Just like a seashell, the creative design process unfolds in layers and phases. The design process involves gathering information and using tools to generate ideas nurtured and refined through participants’ expertise. Different parts of the creative process work together, where all participants and each step of the process are essential in steering towards innovative solutions. Like the intricate chambers within a seashell, the design sprint unfolds with attention to detail, fostering collaboration and ideation. The pearls symbolise moments of brilliance and creativity that emerge during this intensive process, enriching the overall outcome. The cover picture of this document was generated using AI and downloaded from Freepik com.

The Creative Design Sprint event was co-financed by the European Union and funded through the Interreg South Baltic Program 2021-2027, with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.

Deliverables

14-page interactive digital booklet

My contribution

I was responsible for designing a digital booklet, which involved creating an engaging and user-friendly interface for readers to navigate through the content seamlessly. The objectives included creating a visually appealing cover, participant profiles with pictures and text, and the ability to learn more about them through open links. The booklet also presented the event programme, which comprised the agenda, venue, accommodation, and partners. All parts of the booklet can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding buttons and links.

To achieve my objective of creating a visually appealing and unified layout, I incorporated specific design techniques and principles that not only grab the audience’s attention but also improve readability, clarity, and ease of navigation.
